About This Album

TUNEXX’s second release, “Blue Mode,” represents a significant progression from their first album by transitioning from an individual focus to a collective one. While their debut centered around seven young artists striving to showcase their uniqueness, this new mini-album emphasizes the importance of connecting with like-minded individuals and gaining confidence through shared experiences. The record captures the essence of youthful enthusiasm, uncertainty, deep emotions, and the sense of unity that arises when moving forward as a group.

In the four tracks of “Blue Mode,” a more diverse range of musical styles is on display, including UKG house, R&B trap soul, hip-hop soul, and electronic pop. The lead single, “BLUE MODE,” merges R&B trap soul with breakbeat-infused production, while “SYNC UP,” “ANSWER,” and “OVER X” each delve into distinct sounds and feelings. Furthermore, members like Donggyu, Inhu, Taira, Zeon, and Sihwan took a more active role in the songwriting process, contributing to the lyrics throughout the entire album.
